Single-Input Games

Single-Input Games (One Button Video-Games) are unique in the sense that there is only one feature that is controlled by the Player. Here are some of the best Single-Input Video-Games.

Canabalt)

Canabalt is an endless runner where your character constantly runs forwards until they are stopped by an object or, in Canabalts case, falling in between high-rise building to their death. Released in 2009, Canabalt was designed by Adam Saltzman and published by Semi-Secret Studios. You're given very little context in the game but one can gather that the character is either running from something dangerous or living in a world where travelling on top of buildings that collapse easily is acceptable.
Canabalt has inspired a whole new genre of casually playable Video Games in the endless runner format. Whether it's through Temple Run or Subway Surfers, the legacy of this game lives on.

Flappy Bird)

Another endless runner (flyer) that has reached mainstream popularity is Flappy Bird. The game with a dull name is similar to Canabalt in that it only stops once you hit an obstacle, the obstacle here being pipes that resemble those of Super Mario. You control the bird as you flap its wings with the press of a button to go higher and letting gravity do the rest of the work.

Crossy Road)

Crossy Road sees you cross a road forever until you either fall in a river or get hit by a car or eaten by an alligator. This game really sucks.
